Who We Are

#VALUES

Diversity

In order to practice the values of diversity from various angles, we continuously check the diversity of members and our methods of creative work. We explore ways of coexistence among the individuals as well as possibilities of creating harmony through our research and feedback system.

Curiosity

Through a curious gaze toward the world, we explore new ideas and projects. We create a point of contact with the world through the work of seeing the familiar as unfamiliar and creating an opportunity to become familiar with the unfamiliar.

Challenge

We conduct artistic experiments that are creatively, emotionally, and/or physically challenging, and encourage artists to face ‘safe failures’ to seek for innovative methods for creative work.

1

Work-in-Progress

Focusing on the process of creative work, we support and explore the entire process of artistic activities that aim to develop a good balance with life. With the belief that the art activities that focus only on the outcome of the work may overlook the depth and value of arts as well as the longevity of the career, we provides platform for artists and audiences to meet and develop in-depth understanding about creative experiences.

2

Challenge

& Experimentation

We experiment with creative methods, materials, movements, and sounds and share the results and feedback. We also pay attention to creating emotionally safe space to navigate the challenging projects.

3

Research

& Learning

In the group, we organize study groups to develop new projects and ideas and continue researching the selected topics. We also collect a language study group and workshops on essential administrative tips for artists.

As a part of our work-in-progress, we offer open classes and workshops regarding our artistic practice, including movement, dance, improvisation, and interdisciplinary approach.

Interdisciplinary Arts

Site-specific_ Artists from various fields gather and create works by observing and responding to the characteristics of space and situation. We work to alternate participants’ experience of ‘the everyday space’ through artistic experiments.

Community-based_ We create participatory works that connect space and people through body movements and voice. We explore ways to communicate with each other while supporting the individuality of community members.

Interdisciplinary Arts_ We work to embrace the potential of every genre and medium in artistic practices. We also investigate the workings of power in creative processes by deconstructing and reconstructing the traditionally assigned roles for participants.

Improvisation_ We work to strengthen the spontaneity of time-based arts by transforming their volatility into uniqueness through consistent improvisation training.

Collaboration
(Featured Artists)

Through continuous collaboration with artists from various regions, we create symbiotic artistic relationships that complement each other and support our growth.
